Masculine and Feminine Archetypes 101

Updated: Jan 6

I really love to keep things simple.

So I decided to provide you with a brief reference guide to the 4 masculine and 4 feminine archetypes - plus an extra archetype that is androgynous - so that you can better understand the terminology that I often use.

As you will see, all 9 of these archetypes can be traced back to astrology, ancient Egyptian/Roman/Greek/Hindu mythology/religion and the spirituality of indigenous cultures throughout the world.

My romantic partner, Rakhem Seku utilizes a system called the Bagua Character Map to explain this all mathematically, scientifically and astrologically. He wrote a very detailed book on this topic. which you can read here:

The Bagua Character Map: Science, Analysis and Interpretation

Another important thing to note is that all 9 of these archetypes exist and operate in every human being! And each of these archetypes all have shadowy aspects where they express in either a weak or an excessive manner. And they are expressed all throughout nature.

So here goes:

Feminine Archetypes

DEVOTEE - Divine Mother, Virgin Mary, Yemaya, Parvati, the Moon, also Neptune, Auset/A'st, Chandra, Queen

CONSERVATIONIST - Kali, Protector, Destroyer, Oya, Babalu Aye, Saturn, Sekert, Sekhmet, Crone, Shani
